The owner of Marvel Adventure, Nir, recently guided my son and I on this trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Nir, who grew up in the Everest region, is an excellent guide with some 16 years experience. He speaks English very well and also speaks Hindi and Malaysian as well as his native language Nepali. He was extremely helpful with his local knowledge, organising things day to day and changing the itinerary en route to suit our needs. Wih this support and the the assitance of a porter we have a great trek and I would not hesistate to recommend trekking with Nir and his company.

My friend and I had been travelling throughout India and Nepal for 6 weeks and had a five days in between trekking in Langtang Valley and going to Bhutan. Instead of staying in Kathmandu for another five days, we wanted to get out of the capital and see another side of Nepal.I was recommended Marvel Adventure by a friend I had met travelling, so contacted Nir and asked him what he recommended doing in the five days. He suggested that we fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu, then hike to Ghorepani/Poon Hill and back (2-3 day hike) and then spend the last two nights in Pokhara before flying back to Kathmandu.It was the perfect way to spend five spare days in Nepal as we got to see some of the Annapurna region. Nir was very professional and organised every aspect of our trip, including flights, accommodation, TIMS permits and on the ground transportation. He was also very flexible with us, for example, we were hiking at a pace that got us comfortably back from Poon Hill at a decent hour that we had the option of spending an extra night in Pokhara as opposed to just the one.I can definitely recommend travelling with Nir and Marvel Adventure to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, flexible and organised guide, and will definitely be coming back to Nepal for some more trekking with Nir!

While spending a month traveling around Nepal and India, the best 8 days of my trip were spent with Marvel Adventure trekking in the Annapurna region. I can't imagine having a more authentic or heart-opening experience of Nepal without Marvel.For our small group, we began emailing the owner Nir (pronounced "Near"--as in not far) a few weeks before our arrival, explaining that it was our first time in country. We had some solid ideas of what we wanted to do, but also needed some on-the-ground expertise and recommendations. Nir was exceptionally prompt and collaborative helping us plan our trip, and he custom tailored 8 days exclusively for us--not just with trekking, but lots of other activities as well. Nir advised us on everything we needed to know (like what to bring) and handled everything from in-country transportation (flights, cabs, etc) to hotel accommodations, permits, and booking everything in between. He even personally inspected some of the places we wanted to visit. Always with a big smile on his face, his presence kept us laughing and having fun the whole trip, sharing stories about growing up in Nepal and teaching us how to eat, speak, and drink like the locals. He's great at adjusting plans quickly too, letting us add another traveller onto our itinerary at a moments notice. He kept us fully informed everyday of our schedule but also surprised us with delightful treats and mini-excursions that kept our well-orchestrated trip always feeling like an impromptu adventure. I left Nepal feeling like a local leaving home, and I can't wait to get back there with even more friends now knowing that we have the country's best guide and operator to start planning our next life-changing adventure.

Nir, the owner of the company was our guide. He was 100% attentive from start to finish. We completed the Poon Hill trek, and spent some time in Pokhara. Nir, provided us with great accomadation,information and advice. This is a new company, but Nir runs it with great professionalism and determination to meet his clients every needs. He gave us a taste of the local culture, and introduced us to Nepalese traditions one would not usually encounter.

Thank you for this nice trip in the Langtang! Everything was very well. I have seen beautiful landscape thanks to a passionate guide. I recommend Marvel adventure if you want a quality trek.

I hadn't done much research before going on this trip. However, I was well informed before arriving by the company, and there was a fast respond to my emails.I went on this trip as a solo female traveller. I was set me up in a small group of other female travellers, which I appreciated. The guide made me feel very safe through out the trip and made us feel comfortable as a groupe. He was very informative, and he gladly answered all our questions. On our way, we heard about bad experiences with other guides ect., so I was really glad that I felt that I was in good hands. The trek itself is hard, especially because I chose to carry my own backpack, but it is so beautiful and really worth it. I can only recommend this trip! Beautiful surroundings and a great guide!

Back in April we did a two-week trek with Nir to EBC, Chola Pass (the highlight for me) and Gokyo Lake. We had a group of mixed ages and fitness levels, and Nir managed our different needs well. He was organized and thorough: every night we debriefed about the day, he measured our oxygen levels (I didn't see any other guides doing this), and laid out the plan for the next morning. He ensured we got accommodation in our desired teahouses even at very busy times, made helpful suggestions on what to eat/ not eat, taught us card games and generally took excellent care of us. You can tell he's been at this a long time. Trekking in Nepal is an amazing experience I'd recommend to anyone, and doing it with Nir you know you'll be in great hands.

Excellent experience I had doing the Ghorepani-Poonhill trek with this company. I was actually a solo traveller and joined a Holland couple throughout my trek. Nir was our guide and everything we ever needed was provided instantly. He treated us more like a friend than a guide and we never felt out of place. Something which every foreigner would want in a foreign country. I strongly recommend him and his team for any Nepal trekking adventure. Will come back soon! :)
